#LoveMovementMiamiDade April event

As you may recall, Jamila Wellness LLC partnered with Thirty-One Gifts to bring care bags to pediatric oncology patients (children receiving chemotherapy) through a project called Believe Bags. It was a success! Special thanks to Jameka Johnson and Betty Key for their strong and dedicated efforts! Bags were donated along with items to fill them. They were then packaged and delivered by Jennifer Nwadike. Here's what she had to say:

"They were all grateful but the little ones were especially funny. The way their faces would light up at seeing something for them and the squeals of joys at seeing what was inside moved me to tears. These kids were dealt a bad hand and still they find joy in the little things."

  1. I was so happy to have the opportunity to do this for our local kids and so excited that Michelle presented me with the idea. She also donated 5 bags from her collection to ensure we had enough bags for Holtz's 30 beds and Baptist Children's 16. So many people were so eager to donate bags and the businesses I reached out to were happy to provide items for both the girl and boy bags. This really wouldn't have been accomplished without the 16 individuals that donated 36 bags to my collection and the Robert Morgan Community Service Club who not only donated bags but also came up with a helpful list to help fill the teenage boy bags. I can't forget Annabel who hand made the beanies that went into each and every bag. I love how we got together locally to help kids and bring a smile to their faces.
